Sade
Bates
Sade came to Priestley from Woolston High and in her first year
obtained an A grade AS Level in Physics. Moving into her second
year, she then focussed on three A-Levels and obtained an A* in
History, A in Biology and A in Chemistry. Sade is now at Manchester
University studying Chemistry. |

Baxter
Jess was a former pupil at Cardinal Newman and went on to study
four A-Levels. She obtained an A* grade in Biology, A grades in
Chemistry and Psychology and a B in English Literature. Jess is
now at Manchester University studying Biomedical Science with Industrial
Experience. |

Brabham
Robin came to Priestley from Penketh High and achieved some remarkable
results. In his first year, he obtained an A grade in AS Level Further
Maths and in his second year completed 5 A-Levels. Four of these
in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics were all A* grades, whilst
he also landed an A in German. Robin is now studying Chemistry at
York University. |

Ian arrived at Priestley from Birchwood High and went on to obtain
three A* grades at A-Level in Physics, Maths and Electronics. He
also obtained a B in Computing and has now moved to Southampton
University to study Physics. |

Rachel came to Priestley from William Beamont High School and opted
to tackle a BTEC programme in Sports Performance and Excellence.
She went on to obtain a triple distinction to go alongside her D
grade in A-Level Biology. Rachel is now studying at Liverpool John

first year had already completed a full A-Level in Drama, graded
at B. In her second year, she completed 4 further A-Levels in Maths,

C. Hayley is now studying Aeronautics & Astronautics at Southampton
University. |

Mohamed came to Priestley from Penketh High and went onto study
the BTEC National Diploma in ICT, where he had a merit, pass and
pass profile. He also completed an A-Level an Arabic which was graded
at A*. Mohamed also completed his Duke of Edinburgh Award and was
part of the Aviation enrichment programme. He departed Priestley
to study at John Moores University in Liverpool. |

Beavon
Joel came to Priestley from the Grange Comprehensive. In his first
year he completed AS Levels in Media and Law, obtaining A grades
in both and in his second year completed the BTEC National Diploma
programme in Performing Arts at triple distinction level. Joel
also landed an A grade A-Level in English and regularly took part
in enrichment activities including Driving Theory and the Performing
Arts groups. At the end of his stay he went onto study at the
Arden School of Musical Theatre. |

Kerry came to Priestley from Penketh High School and in her first
year obtained and A grade AS Level in Science in Society. Moving
into her second year, she went onto complete A-Levels in Chemistry,
Biology, Physics and Maths and obtained two A* grades, one A and
one B. Kerry also attended extra workshops for Science and Maths
and represented her tutor group in various College quizzes. Kerry
then departed for the University of Nottingham.

Miles came to Priestley from Woolston High and went onto land three
straight A* grades in Maths, Further Maths and Physics alongside
an A grade in German. Miles also had an A grade AS Level in Spanish
from his first year. He was subsequently able to accept a place
at The University of Warwick to study Maths. |

He subsequently departed for Loughborough University to study Mechanical
Engineering.

Nicola came to Priestley from Bridgewater High and obtained an A*

also completed an AS-Level in Spanish in her first year, graded

at College. Nicola departed for the University of Leeds to study
French and Linguistics. |

Physics and Psychology. Leon also completed the Duke of Edinburgh
Award whilst at College and left Priestley to study Maths at Liverpool
University with a long term view of moving into teaching. |

Victoria came to Priestley from Sir Thomas Boteler and went onto
obtain an A* in Archaeology and straight A grades in History, Geography
and Geology. Victoria was also a member of the History Society and
left Priestley for Cardiff University to study Archaeology. |

Gilmour-Rees
Joseph came to Priestley from Bridgewater High and landed a very
impressive set of results including two A* A-levels in French and
Drama. He also obtained an A grade A-level in English Literature
and an A grade in AS Level Spanish. A member of the Respiration
Theatre Company Joseph opted for a gap year, teaching English in
primary schools in France before moving onto Leeds University to
study French and Chinese.

Katy came to Priestley from Bridgewater High and went onto land
an A* grade in Dance, two A grades in Maths and Psychology and one
B grade in Economics. Katy was also part of the Oxygen Dance Company
and the Aromatherapy Enrichment course. She departed for The University
of Leeds to Study Mathematics with Finance.

Anthony also obtained an A grade A-Level in Dance and was part of
the enrichment programmes for Performing Arts – Pulse and
Oxygen. Anthony left Priestley for the Laban School of Contemporary
Dance in London. |

Archaeology, A in English Literature, A in Law and B in History.
He was also a member of the Debating Society. Gavan opted to take
a year out before applying for University in 2011.

Theory enrichment programmes and decided to take a year out before
pursuing his next step. |

and was able to accept a place at Manchester University to study
Zoology. |

Union and completed the Duke of Edinburgh Award. He departed for
Cambridge University. |

C grade AS Level in Critical Thinking. He left to study Astrophysics

She departed for the University of Nottingham with a long term plan
of becoming a teacher. |

Warren came to Priestley from Fairfield High and went onto excel
in Law, Sociology and Business with one A* grade and two A grades.
Warren was also one of many students to benefit from an overseas
study trip to Egypt and departed Priestley for The University of
Liverpool to study Law with the long term plan of becoming a Solicitor.

Magda arrived at College from her native Poland and worked her way
up from foundation level in her first year to A-Levels in her final
year. Magda was able to obtain an A grade AS Level in Polish and
an E grade in Maths. At A-Level, she then obtained two D grades
and one E in Chemistry, Psychology and Biology. A keen sportswoman,
Magda represented England at Volleyball and went onto accept a place
at Northumbria University. |

onto obtain a triple distinction and an A grade. During her time
at Priestley she was also involved in numerous enrichment projects
including Pulse, Oxygen, Fit to Dance and Breathe. Jodie departed
for a place at the prestigious Laban School of Cotemporary Dance
in London. |

a role that saw him represent the student voice at Governing Body
level. He also took part in the Mock Trial competition and departed
to study Law at Durham. |
