PRIESTLEY student Adam Conway travelled to Kenya with The Warrington Wolves Foundation to help at Memusi School and the local community.
“As a group our main aim was to give the children in Memusi experiences to remember such as the match day experience where all of them watched and participated in a game of half football and half rugby against the volunteers from Warrington,” said Adam.
“This gave all those who attended an experience many Warrington children enjoy every week.”
One of the highlights for Adam was helping in the local school where he was made welcome by both pupils and teachers.
Another memorable experience was visiting a Maasai village where some of the Memusi School pupils lived.
“I feel the trip has taught me to be more appreciative of the smallest of things that we take for granted at home such as food and water,” said Adam.
