What you will study
You will work with a tutor to choose a combination of optional units which may include specialisms in: Ensemble performance, solo performance, song writing, composition, music for media, music theory, industry job roles and music business organisations, self promotion and networking, studio recording, mixing, mastering and sound engineering.
How you will be assessed
Priestley has strong connections within the music and events industry. We have regular talks and workshops with industry professionals such as music producers, product specialists and touring sound engineers who are all working at the highest level. Five-day residential at world-famous Rockfield studios where Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody.
As this is a full-time Music qualification, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of music. This course is ideal preparation for further study at university, opening up a wide range of music industry pathways.
