They presented work to Level 2 BTEC Art and Design learners to inspire a textiles project about exploring fashion and interior outcomes.
Both Amy and Emma studied art courses at Priestley and have been working towards live briefs to develop industry practice. They offered guidance on University choices to help the students who are completing UCAS applications and choices.
The visit provided clear links to vocational qualifications, industry practice and assessment criteria and students had a variety of questions to help them make decisions for progression after College.
“It was a great opportunity for Level 2 learners to see firsthand examples of fashion and interior outcomes for industry,” said Tutor Sarah Astin.
“The learners found the Q&A very helpful to aid their choices for progression after Priestley College.”
