Our course builder will be coming soon. For now though we recommend you start by considering what pathway you would like to take at Priestley whether that be A-Levels, Vocational, T-Levels or a Mixed Programme. Our Foundation Programme is an option for those who are not ready for Level 3 immediately after finishing high school. Please read on below and listen to what some of our students have to say about the different pathways they have opted for.
FOUNDATION
“I’m Dylon and I took Level 2 Sport. I chose to do a Level 2 programme to help me to progress. I came through the Development Academy, and I want to become a rugby player. I recommend getting your merits and distinctions to push yourself forward to where you want to be.”
A-LEVELS
“My name’s Aixa and I study Geography, Spanish, Sociology and Religious Studies at A-Level. The benefit of A-Levels is that they prepare you for university. You get to learn about subjects that you enjoy in more detail and in a more exciting way than at high school.”
VOCATIONAL
“I’m Tyler and I’m taking the Vocational Public Service course. The benefit of taking this route has been to get a real insight into what it is like to be in the protective services. I’ve been given opportunities to visit HMP Manchester and RAF Wittering: It’s a hands-on course.”
T-LEVEL
“I’m Ashton and I’m taking the Digital Production T-Level at Priestley. T-Level differs from A-Levels due to the work placement that we do on the course. I went on a web development placement, which was organised by college and I learnt about html, WordPress and how to use CSS.”
MIXED PROGRAMME
“I’m Grace and I study a mixed programme at Priestley. I recommend a mixed programme because you can do A-Levels and get a placement within your Vocational course. College has allowed me to make more choices, supporting what I want to do.”
