A NEW course at Priestley College is set to prepare young people for careers in childcare, social or learning development and support services.
Students on the Children and Young People’s Workforce BTEC course have been kitted out with a uniform so they look the part and get used to portraying themselves in a professional manner.
During the course they will study a variety of core units including communication, health and safety and promoting development.
These units will provide the skills, knowledge and development relevant to a wide range of sectors.
Students who complete the course will have the knowhow to pursue a career in childcare, social or learning development and support services.
