PARENTS learnt more about how their children’s university education can be financed at a seminar held at Priestley College.
A representative from Student Finance England spoke to about 70 parents and carers at the event aimed at making the transition to university smoother and easier.
“The parents and carers found out about finance in relation to university and progression funding,” said Senior Tutor Mark Eccleston.
“Parents and students have to go through the process of applying for funding themselves, it is not something we are involved with. However, we believe the more advice and guidance we can provide for them the better.”
