Priestley alumnus James Griffith recently graduated from University of Manchester with a First in Business & Management with German.
James, who studied German, History, EPQ and BTEC Music at Priestley, worked as a Music tutor immediately after leaving Priestley before going back into education to study for his degree.
The former Cardinal Newman Catholic High pupil said: “Priestley College gave me an environment which was very much like the real world. I was able to take on new responsibilities and take control of my learning.
“I learnt valuable skills such as accountability and the value of hard work. I also gained valuable people skills such as being a good member of the community and always aiming to impress.”
Good luck to James as he pursues a career in Germany as an English Language assistant with the hopes to continue in the educational setting or something similar to his degree in business and management.
