Priestley supported Rob Jones throughout his time at college so that he could pursue his dream of playing for England.
He played for England in the U19s World Cup during his time at college after captaining a successful U17s tour in South Africa and impressing for Lancashire’s second XI.
He’s also been a regular for Toft Cricket Club in Knutsford for several years.
Rob, in only his third-first class match, became the youngest Lancashire batsman since Cyril Washbrook in 1935 to carry his bat for 106 not out in 2016 against a Middlesex side that would emerge from the season as champions.
