Robert Lees

Former School :Woolston Community High Studied at Priestley:

Subjects at Priestley :A-Level Geography (C) and AVCE Travel & Tourism (DD)

Destination :First Officer for Thomas Cook Airlines

I left Priestley in 2006 and worked as Cabin Crew for XL Airways. After this I enrolled on a 15-month intensive course at Flight Training Europe, Jerez.

At the end of this course I achieved a Commercial Pilot’s Licence with Instrument Rating, also known as an Air Transport Pilot’s Licence.

I now fly professionally as a First Officer for Thomas Cook Airlines based out of Manchester.

I fly the Airbus A321 to over 60 destinations, mainly to The Canary Islands, Turkey, Greece and Egypt.

Priestley introduced me to Flight Training Europe. I also enrolled on the Aviation enrichment course which gave me invaluable information on pursuing my dream career.

The College was outstanding and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the courses they have to offer.
