THE RAF has invited students from Priestley College to visit its new outreach centre in Liverpool.
The College has strong links with the RAF and Public Services Tutor Chris Seaton has already visited the centre in Aintree, which was opened by the Lady Mayoress of Liverpool.
“The centre is aimed at giving the RAF a presence in the north west and allows young people to experience what they have to offer in terms of a career,” said Chris.
“At Priestley we aim to prepare students for life after sixth form in ways that best suit them so it is important to provide them with these kinds of opportunities.”
All Public Services students will be attending the RAF centre in January when they will get the chance to develop teamwork and communication skills.
They will also be able to go on the low ropes course, aircraft simulator, interactive careers terminal, RAF fitness area and much more.
