Access Off Campus (External)
If you need to login to the REMS portal system outside the college, you will need to have registered your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) details.
The preferred MFA method is to use the “Microsoft Authenticator App”,
** Using IOS devices we recommend using the Microsoft Edge App which can be downloaded free from the Apple Store.
How to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app
- Download & install the Microsoft Authenticator app to your mobile device from the Mobile App Store.
- Sign in to your account security dashboard.
- Select the Add Sign-in method, choose Authenticator App, and click Add.
- If you have already installed the app, select Next twice to display a QR code on the screen.
- Connect to Wi-Fi and Open the authenticator app on your mobile device, select + then Add Work or School account.
- Select Scan a QR code and then Scan the QR code shown on the screen in step 4. The account should then be added successfully to your mobile device.
- Click Next and it will display a code you need to input on your mobile device.
- Enter the code and select Yes and you should get a message Microsoft Authenticator – Notification approved.
- Click Next to complete the registration of the Authenticator App
Logging into REMS Portal via rems2.priestley.ac.uk**
Recommended browsers are Microsoft Edge and Safari.
You will initially be prompted to login to Microsoft using your college e-mail address and password and will be challenged to use MFA to verify your Priestley account.
On Windows or Android Devices
Once verified you will then be challenged to login to the REMS application using your college e-mail address and password.
On IOS including iPhone Devices
Once verified you will then be challenged to login to the REMS application using username in the format \<username> and password.
For example, Joe Bloggs with college ID 01234567 would login using your college username: \jb01234567
