Today we take a look back at the huge success of the Solvay Science and Maths Conference which took place at the end of the last academic year.

Priestley has enjoyed nine successful years of partnership with Solvay – a global leader in the chemical industry – in organising this event.

A record number of Year 10s joined us for the conference in 2023, which also saw Priestley Graduate students presenting scientific posters to a diverse audience. 

The event put the pupils to the test as they took on different Maths and Science Challenges which covered everything from finding sustainable solutions for the chemical industry to flying drones.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Solvay.
