More than 82,000 students from across the UK took part with the top 10% receiving a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the following 30% bronze.
Priestley’s gold medallist was Abigail Barrell, formerly of Lymm High School, who also sat a follow-on competition called the Senior Kangaroo.
“This was a great chance for the students to pit their maths knowledge against other young people from across the country,” said Priestley’s Head of Maths Wendy Brennan.
“Our students take part in this challenge every year and always perform well. This year was no exception with Abigail really impressing with one of the top marks.”
