It would be desirable if the candidate had the ability to teach one of the following subjects in addition: Economics, Classical Civilisation or Sociology. The key purpose of the role is to ensure that all students receive from Priestley College the best possible learning opportunities related to realistic achievable learning goals.

Permanent, Full-time (part-time would be considered)

August 2023- start of the academic year (subject to successful pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS check or a check against the DBS Update Service if registered)
Salary:
Sixth Form Colleges’ Salary Structure Main Teaching Scale (up to £42,149 per annum)

Candidates invited to interview will be asked to prepare a 20-minute Microteach on the below subject
‘An introduction on Leibniz’s proof for the cosmological existence of God’.
Please can candidates also have a lesson plan showing how they would develop the lesson for 1 hour 30 minutes.
