Before Easter, 10 students from Priestley’s Year 12 High Achievers’ cohort participated in a trip to University of Cambridge.

Despite a blown-out tyre on the A14 , the students arrived at Sidney Sussex College in good spirits.

They took part in excellent workshops on Personal Statements and admissions throughout their overnight stay. These were kindly facilitated as part of the University of Cambridge’s HE+ Programme, which Year 12 Priestley students participate in.

Priestley’s cohort stood out for their oracy skills, enhancing their public speaking and debating abilities with students from other colleges.
