STEM at Priestley has national 'gold standard'
Priestley has STEM-assured status which has been described as the national ‘gold standard’ for these subjects.
That means if you want to study a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths subject here you are giving yourself the best chance to succeed.
“We have a committed and passionate team of tutors across STEM and our students go on to excel at the highest level after college,” said our STEM coordinator Shahida Khanam.
Priestley’s STEM status is determined by the quality of its teachers, facilities such as university-standard laboratories and the technology centre as well as our links with major employers.
More than 60 organisations provide work experience, workshops or assignments including Oxford University, the Environment Agency, Sellafield, Barclays, Warrington Borough Council and the MoD.
