Students need to submit a Student Registration and Behaviour Code Agreement to secure a Priestley bus pass.
Failure to agree to or comply with this Behaviour Code may result in disciplinary action and a student’s place on a service being withdrawn:
- I will show the driver my bus pass and college ID card every time I take the bus, and I know I can’t board without them.
- I will only travel on routes I have paid for.
- I will be at my pick-up point at least 10 minutes before the bus is scheduled to leave.
- I will wait sensibly for my bus and remember that I represent the college.
- I will only get on or off the bus at the official pick-up and drop-off points, and I understand that the driver can only stop at designated bus stops along the route.
- I will line up and board the bus in an orderly way and will not push or shove.
- I will not share my bus pass with any other student, and I know that the bus service is only for Priestley students with a valid pass and ID.
- I will not play loud music on the bus.
- I will not damage or deface any part of the bus.
- I will not put my feet on the seats.
- I will not throw anything on the bus.
- I will take my litter with me or use the bins provided.
- I will not smoke or vape while on the bus.
- I will not use bad language.
- I will not distract the bus driver in any way.
- I will respect my fellow passengers, the bus driver, and my environment.
- I will follow the requests of the driver or college staff, understanding that the health and safety of everyone on board is the top priority.
- I will always communicate with drivers and college staff politely and respectfully.
- I will submit feedback via the Bus Feedback Form should I face any difficulties with the college service/s.
- I will inform the College of any failure to follow this Behaviour Code, so that suitable measures can be taken to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for users of these services.
