OUR Politics students took part in Learn With The Lords and a discussion with Baroness Harris of Richmond.

Baroness Harris spoke to the cohort via video link and gave incredible insight into the world of politics and the House of Lords.

Students delivered great feedback to Baroness Harris, including Amelia who said: “I found it interesting that you used examples of why older people have a place in the Lords. I was initially in favour of a retirement age but this convinced me otherwise.”

Nathan added: “I enjoyed learning about the composition of the Lords and your story of appointment – you were very interesting and insightful, and very deserving of your title as a Baroness!”
