Warrington's Own Buses & Arriva
Priestley College is within walking distance of the Warrington Bus Interchange and several major bus stops. In order to make travel more affordable for young people, Warrington’s Own Buses operates a ‘Bus Club’ offering 16 to 20-year-olds £1.50 single fares within the Warrington area. There is also the option of a Touch & Go annual pass if you want to use WOB services.
The Arriva Student Saver tickets offer reduced-price bus travel that can be paid in manageable monthly direct debit payments. Applying is easy, with no setup fee or minimum contract required. For more information, visit Arriva
College buses
Only full-time students living over 1.5 miles away from the college are eligible to use our direct bus services.
To travel on one of these buses you must have a Priestley Pass, which costs £430 and is valid for one academic year. You will be able to travel for free the first few weeks of the September term as you settle into college, but will need your student ID badge. Click here for details about bursary support.
Under our service agreement, students cannot pay on the bus and there is not a pay-as-you-go option. We will communicate directly with students on how to pay for a Priestley Pass.

Bus pick-up times
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays the college buses leave at 4.15pm. On Wednesdays and Thursdays the buses leave at 3.45pm.

Lymm and Burtonwood Services
Due to a low number of students choosing to use the services, the Lymm and Burtonwood college buses will no longer operate.
If you travel from Lymm, you can apply for a Warrington’s Own Buses Touch & Go pass, which offers a more affordable way to travel. The 5 service stops within easy walking distance of Priestley College.
If you previously travelled on the P18 service, parts of the route are now covered by the P3 and P4 services. Alternatively, the 17, 17A and 17C services may provide a suitable route depending on where you are travelling from.
