Train
Train Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central provide access to the college for students who can take trains linking Warrington to Liverpool, Manchester, Crewe, and Wigan. We recommend applying for the 16-17 Saver or 16-25 railcard to enjoy discounted train fares.

Warrington’s Own Buses and Arriva provide various bus passes for students to use for commuting to college throughout the day and travelling during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

College buses
For those who may have difficulty accessing public transport, we provide a selection of heavily subsidised college bus services.
Warrington’s Own Buses is committed to providing excellent travel choices in the Warrington area for just £1 per journey for individuals aged 16 to 22. Consequently, we will keep assessing the need for college services. If any changes occur, we will notify you ahead of time.
Priestley Pass Costs and Payment
Only full-time students living over 1.5 miles away from the college are eligible for a Priestley Pass. A Priestley Pass costs £360 and is valid for one academic year. We have committed to heavily subsidising these services to keep costs as low as possible, while also providing safe and convenient travel to and from the College. Under our service agreement, students cannot pay on the bus or opt for a pay-as-you-go option when travelling with a Priestley Pass. However, pay-as-you-go fares are available on Warrington’s Own Buses service routes.
For more details see the Travel Guide
These services are run by either Warrington’s Own Buses or Selwyn’s and currently include:
Please note that the P18 from Burtonwood is a public service and an extension of the 18 route, which would typically begin or end at Warrington Interchange.
The P18 was introduced in partnership with Warringon’s Own Buses to offer students a direct route to and from Priestley. As a result, tickets for the P18/18 services are purchased directly from Warrington’s Own Buses, and the college does not offer an annual pass for this route.
If you experience any difficulties with any of the direct services to college – P1,P2, P2A, P4, P5, P5A, P6, P8, P9 – please submit your feedback via the link below.
