Congratulations to our EU Ambassadors and our Modern Languages department for marking International Day of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

This year was the 60th anniversary of the event and we were joined by pupils from several local schools to commemorate the occasion.

During the day students were nominated to represent a party and debated on their behalf. They had to demonstrate good persuasive skills and great confidence. 

We also welcomed Asher from the European Parliament who talked about the EU and the history of Europe.

Our EU Ambassadors also made their own presentation about their role and about International Day of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
